Lexicon Inc. has promoted Mike Colvin to plant manager for Prospect Steel and Justin Smith to plant manager for Custom Metals. Both will be based at Lexicon headquarters in Little Rock, Ark.
Colvin has been with the company for 31 years, most recently serving as quality assurance manager in the maintenance division, which he maintained when he later transitioned to Custom Metals. Smith began his career with the company more than 23 years ago as a welder. He went on to become a foreman and then a plant manager. Before that he worked at Rohr Inc. and Trinity Industries.
