A British artist has found his muse, and it comes in the form of the human anus. Magnus Irvin has been selling anus-shaped candy creations since 2006 and recently embarked on a new form of butthole art: personalized bronze anuses cast from your own behind -- or the behind of another.
The Huffington Post reports that Magnus wanted to move on from chocolate anus creations to something more permanent. Therefore, he decided to start casting anuses out of bronze. Customers willing to pay approximately $1,900 can have their own anus cast into a bronze sculpture, or if they prefer, they can have a copy of someone else's anus cast into bronze.
How exactly does the process of casting one's anus into bronze work? According to blogger Alexi Duggins, who had his nether region immortalized in bronze, the process required a special gel and the ability to remain in a precarious position while the artist did his work.
Magnus Irvin's website has a whole section dedicated strictly to butthole art. Aside from bronze buttholes and edible anus-shaped chocolate, Irvin also features a host of other anus-inspired creations. The website includes light-up heart anuses, "petite anuses," and a variety of glass products. On Irvin's secondary website, edibleanus.com, he also features a "limited edition silver anus" as well as tee shirts and "poo cards."
Magnus' website claims the "poo card" product is perfect for all the "vulgarians" in your life. The gift receiver would certainly need a special sense of humor to appreciate the "pop up" poo card that features various figures relieving themselves of turds that can be pulled from the figure's derriere.
What do you think of Magnus and his butthole art? Is it hard to imagine anyone paying $1,900 to have their anus immortalized in bronze?
